Unlike any other regular party, Karen picked a very creative idea for her sweet seventeen birthday party. In Central Park, Pullman Hotel’s ballroom was magically swapped into an underwater world. Lightworks and Alva Decoration worked together to made the princess’ dream came true on her birthday.

The entrance to the ballroom was wonderfully set as a gigantic aquatic coridor with fishes swimming around. The stage was greatly decorated with lots of colorful underwater plants and animals and also baloons. Even the birthday cake was very aquatic with a sea shell put on top of it. What interesting was even though the stage showed the playful part of a kid’s imagination, the ballroom was decorated elegantly and showed a sense of maturity. It was like a symbol of Karen’s journey from being a teenager who then grew up as an adult.

A set of pink roses were beautifully put on each table. A star shaped silhouettes were portrayed on the ceilings, the guests were given a near experience of having dinner underwater with the shadow of a moving star fishes dancing above their heads. (HG/BM)
