D’Artbeat reperform this musical for the second time because lots of enthusiasm from fans and public. The show was held at Ciputra Artpreneur Theater.
The background on this musical was batik that identic with Lasem city, it’s a small town in Central of Java that bears the name of Little China. The red color of batik Lasem was the trademark and only can be found in Lasem.
The story itself was about 2 persons whom fell in love with different background of culture, Chinese and Javanese. It was about friendship, love and betrayal.
Lightworks supported this musical of every scene of the drama to be fitted with the story and the music. It created the mood, dramatization, and expression feeling of every actor and actress on the scenes. For example, red is for anger, purple is for romantic, etc. Lighting designer of Lightworks was did a great job for this Putih Hitam Lasem to create the atmosphere and the ambiance on the scenes. Soundworks supported the soundsystem.
Overall, this musical drama was the best! No words just big applause!
